    Blank windows on certain apps after most recent Windows 10 update


      Hi, I've run into an issue with certain windows being blank after the most recent Windows 10 update. I think it might be a compatibility issue between the most recent build of Windows 10 and the Intel graphics driver. The issue only affects certain windows of specific apps. Details below. Thanks for your help!

      Provide a detailed description of the issue

      After the most recent Windows 10 update, I noticed that specific windows of certain apps appeared blank. Specifically, these are: the table relationships screen in Power BI; the video on WebEx; and the 'Generate Password' and 'Save Password' windows in 1Password. Updating to the most recent Intel HD Graphics driver did not resolve the issue. Rolling back to the previous version of Windows 10 resolved the issue.

      Hybrid or switchable graphics system?
      ie Does it have AMD or NV graphics too?


      Make and model of any Displays that are used to see the issue (see note2 below).
      = Local Flat Panel (Laptop panel)
      EFP = External Flat Panel (Monitor you plug in)


      EFP = LG W2242P

      How much memory [RAM] in the system (see note2 below).


      Provide any other hardware needed to replicate the issue.
      ie: Cables&brand, cable type [vga, hdmi, DP, etc], dock, dongles/adapters, etc


      Hardware Stepping (see note1 below).


      Software (SW)

      Operating System version (see note2 below).

      Windows 10 Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.48)

      VBIOS (video BIOS) version. This can be found in “information page” of CUI (right click on Desktop and select “Graphics Properties”.


      Graphics Driver version; for both integrated Intel and 3rd party vendors (see note2 below).

      SW or Apps version used to replicate the issue.

      WebEx (video window); Power BI (table relationships window); 1Password (Generate Password and Save Password windows)


      Single display, clone, or extended (see note2 below).

      PRoblem appears when using laptop display only and also when using external display

      Display resolution & refresh rate setting of each display (see note2 below).

      LFP: 1366 x 768

      EFP = 1680 x 1050

      AC or DC mode, i.e. is power cable plugged in or not?

      How to repro

      Please provide steps to replicate the issue.  These steps are very crucial to finding the root cause and fix.
      A screenshot to illustrate the issue is a huge plus. A video of the failure is even better! Attach to the post or provide the YouTube link.

      1. Update to most current Windows 10 update
      2. Run WebEx and start video chat; OR run PowerBI and navigate to table relationships tab; OR run 1Password and click 'Generate Password' in using Chrome extension
