I installed an older graphics driver
- Date: 28-Dec-2017
- Version: 18.104.22.16801
And this one works.
I also then had to go through the process of not allowing Win10 to auto update the graphics driver.
In the Solidworks forums there are many who have the same issues and are using the HD graphics series and they seem to be the build in type used in laptops. The only solutions are to use an older graphics driver. There seems to be no effort to solve this.
I have not tried the new Win10 update you provided as I do not want to risk it. I have updated through Win update to the most recent and is on auto. However I did notice although my system says its up to date the version is not what you provided.
It would be nice if the people that made the changes to the graphics driver were to know this issue and see what changes they made were the cause.
Thank you for your response.
