I can't run a game due to error with vertex shaders

I've the following Graphic Card: Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family Microsoft corporation wddm 1.1 and I'm on Compaq Presario C700. When I try to run a game, I always encounter an error saying 'Your graphic card doesn't support vertex shaders!'. How can I resolve this problem? Thanks.

-What is the OS that you are currently using?

-I would like to get the exact name of the adapter you see under "Graphics adapters" from the device manager.

-May I have the name of the game you are having issues with?
