Problem with Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 in an HP Probook 4530s

Hello, I recently bought an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 from HP to replace an Atheros AR9285 network card. I installed the Intel 6230 and have no problems with wifi. However, I seem to be having problems with the bluetooth not connecting like how it used to when the original AR9285 card installed. For example, bluetooth pairing is slow and my bluetooth headset does not automatically connect when it is turned on like it did when the Atheros card was installed. I have to right click the bluetooth icon in the windows taskbar and manually connect the headset. Whereas, when my Atheros card was insttalled, I could just power on the bluetooth headset and it would automatically connect. Is there something I'm not doing right?

 

 

I prefer the Intel N6230 card over the Atheros card because of dual band capability (2.4GHz and 5GHz)

Before we go any further, it is important that you know that Intel does not support integration which is when the original wireless adapter is replaced by another one. With that being said, our first recommendation in this particular situation is to contact HP* in order to find out if they have any drivers specifically designed for this adapter. You must consider that this adapter may not be fully compatible with your system and only HP* can tell you which adapter is right for your system.
