Minecraft is saying that the 'ig8icd64.dll' causing a driver problem. I have downloaded the newest version from my manufacturer's website. They are saying that you need to add Java Arguments to let Minecraft work, but if you NEED to do that to play a game... Some people don't know that and Minecraft needs to fix that. But, if i search for a update on Intels site then i download it and run it, but then my system is saying that it is not compatible with my computer!I have:ASUS Windows 10© 64 bitIntel i7-5500U processorIntel HD Graphics 5500Downloaded version '20.19.15.4300' from ASUS's website, 4.4.0

CONCLUSION

Why the drivers from Intel's site are 'not compatible'?

And: When there will come a new update? Because it looks weird if Intel have not released version 20.19.15.4300 but my manufacturer...?

Hello Johannus,

Thank you for joining the Intel communities.

Please see if you can install the Beta driver, you can download it here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25749/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40-?product=86210 Download Intel® Beta Graphics Driver for Windows® 7/8.1/10* [15.40]

Please bear in mind that Intel provides https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ generic versions of drivers for general purposes. Your http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/oems.html computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to your driver. Intel recommends you contact your computer manufacturer for the latest system specific updates and technical support information.

Also, I would suggest trying to get a patch from Minecraft to have it run better.

Best wishes,

Ivan

This is because you have a customized driver installed in your system, please be aware that Intel provides generic versions of drivers for general purposes. Your computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to your driver. Intel recommends you contact your computer manufacturer for the latest system specific updates and technical support information.

You can also see http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html How to Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 &...

Note: Once you install the "generic" driver you will overwrite any customizations your system manufacturer made to the driver specific for your system model.
