What is it? Input? Output? Signal levels? What I really want to do is remote the power button... Anyone know any way to do that?
The Aux Power Connector feature provides with the opportunity to give the energy to the NUC using your own power supply. Now, if you want to turn the NUC off, you can use an infrared remote control.
I just soldered two wires over the power button and routed them outside the case to a remote button.
Thank you for your feedback.
Sorry, but the answer is not clear for me. Can I use this connecter to power the NUC board from my customer specific brake out board?
The Auxiliary power connector is a power input. If what you want to do is remote the power button, you need to use the Front Panel connector on the board (if populated) or, as John suggested, connect across the power button on the chassis.
Thank you for your clarification.
