Break RAID 1 on Two HDD's and install SSD

Hello everyone, hopefully someone has been down this road before.  I need some help in figuring out of to do this.  Here is my question:

      CURRENT CONFIGURATION:

      2 x 1TB HDD's in a RAID 1 configuration

      NEW CONFIGURATION I WANT:

      - Install 1TB SSD in my motherboard mSata slot

      - Use the 2 x 1TB HDD's as simply extra storage

First off, I would like to retain the Windows 10 OS and all my files and programs currently located on the RAID 1 HDD's.

      Migrate that to the SSD

Break the RAID 1 and configure the HDD's as normal storage disks.

Anybody know a way to do this without having to reinstall windows and all my files?

My BIOS configuration is currently RAID and I assume it will need to go to AHCI ultimately for my final solution.  My concern is that I've read changing the BIOS to AHCI will cause me to lose all my data.

      Help!

      Thanks!
