    High detected CPU frequency.

I'm currently trying to investigate repeated BSODs. NUC (NUC6i5SYK) is 3 weeks old and yesterday, out of nowhere, it has started repeatedly randomly crashing.

Memory test was fine. I just ran the Intel Processor Diagnostic tool which reported Pass for everything.

My question relates to the Processor Diagnostic log which shows a very high detected CPU frequency.  Is this normal?

      CPU Frequency Test

      Module Version:

      Start Time: Mon Mar 07 22:25:33 2016

      Test Result - PASS

      Processor Name: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6260U CPU @ 1.80GHz

      Expected CPU Frequency: 1.80

      Detected CPU Frequency: 2.65734

      Expected Base Clock: 100

      Detected Base Clock: 102.205

Expected frequency - The highest frequency at which the tested processor was manufactured to operate

Detected frequency - The frequency at which the tested processor is currently operating

Power management modes can create marginally higher or lower detected frequency

than expected frequency. Small variations in clock frequencies are common.
