Try uninstalling the old driver first and restart your system, after that reinstall the driver from the link provided above.
If you are not able to install the driver most likely is because your computer manufacturer does not allow the installation of generic Intel video driver. Note: Once you install the “generic” driver you will overwrite any customizations your system manufacturer made to the driver specific for your system model.
Please reply with your Dxdiag file.
In the "Run" window, type "dxdiag" and click OK. A "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" window should pop up. In the window that has now appeared choose "Save all information" After you've saved the file, please attach it to your ticket.
If this driver does not install or you get errors with this driver, most likely you need a customized driver and you will need to contact your system for better support.
