EXTREME UTILITY TOOL BENCHMARK FAILED help

Hello,

I have an Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3 Ghz capable up to 3.7 GHz Turbo Boost.

I wanted to Overclock it the safest way possible so I tried the Intel Extreme Utility tool and the first step to make the over-clock is to always run the benchmark so the software can give you results of what your processor is capable of and download the best configurations for it.

HOWEVER when i'm always done with the utx tool setup and i run the benchmark it fails and says:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ERROR LOG

The benchmarking process has failed and no score was generated as a result.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have already try restarting my pc, changing the compatibility configuration, running as administrator etc.

Could someone please help me out. Thanks

I would recommend keep checking this post for some tips about how to overclock the processor. Please bear in mind that Intel does not provide assistance for overclocking.
