    What is your experience when returning units?

      I am a big fan of NUC and I like Intel's products, please don't get me wrong.

       

      However, after 4 weeks of troubleshooting I had to return my NUC6i5SYK to the shop, Digitec in Switzerland.

      After 1 week, the shop informed by mail, they will need to send it to Intel and I have to wait additional 2-4 weeks, though they have 10 units on stock.

       

      In Summary: I ordered early January 2016, received and assembled the unit End of January. If everything works from now on, I will have a running unit late March/Early April only. Very disappointing, as they have 10 units on stock and no one excused so far all the inconveniences.

       

      Two questions:

      1. For those who returned the unit as well: do you have similar experiences / wait time (3-5 weeks) with your shop?
      2. For Intel: is there a way to speed this up? I would be very glad to hear something that makes these yours a bit more happy again.
