Have the above graphics (onboard GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming GT) and keep getting application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware. I have tried the MS drivers and I have also tried the latest update on Intel's site). This is happening in video players, games and most recently MS Visual Studio Community Edition). Please advise when new drivers will be ready. Thank you.

Hello grahamskaraoke,

Thank you for joining the Intel communities.

I imagine that you have Windows 10 installed, please download the latest driver here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25489/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen-?product=81496 Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10 [15.40][4th Gen]

If the driver from the link above does not solve your problem please try the Beta driver, you can download it at the following link:

Best wishes,

Ivan

Hi Ivan

Thank you for your quick response. Tried both the first and second drivers and now receive the error "application xdesproc.exe has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware". If it will help diagnose the problem I have uploaded the event logs to http://grahamskaraokesystem.com/display.zip http://grahamskaraokesystem.com/display.zip. I will leave up for a few days if you would like to check them out.

Thanks

Try uninstalling the driver restart your system and then reinstall it, after the driver is install please launch the Intel® HD Graphics Control Panel and click on the 3D icon, on the next page under conservative morphological anti-aliasing make sure the turn off option is selected, then select enhance application settings and then turn it back off again, apply the changes and see if that works for you.
