Thank you for your quick response. Tried both the first and second drivers and now receive the error "application xdesproc.exe has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware". If it will help diagnose the problem I have uploaded the event logs to http://grahamskaraokesystem.com/display.zip. I will leave up for a few days if you would like to check them out.
Try uninstalling the driver restart your system and then reinstall it, after the driver is install please launch the Intel® HD Graphics Control Panel and click on the 3D icon, on the next page under conservative morphological anti-aliasing make sure the turn off option is selected, then select enhance application settings and then turn it back off again, apply the changes and see if that works for you.
So far that seems to be working. Appreciate you taking the time to guide me throught it.
