I just installed 4GB Turbo Memory this afternoon. And I found myself in the same situation. Totally lost. What the heck this is.
Can someone from Intel tell me what to do to make my Turbo Memory work.
I have exactly the same problem on Windows 7 with my Thinkpad T400 .
Please help us!
I solved the problem myself. Intel does not care about their customers.
I reinstalled Win-7 and ran System Update right after the system installation completed. By doing so, Turbo Memory driver was installed before any other driver/DLL or any possible cause that blocked Turbo Memory driver from activation.
It did work perfectly. Now I am happy with my W500.
But still not happy wit Intel's customer service.
Any progress? Have just installed such a card and have exactly as you describe.
I have the same problem and called Intel and they passed it off to everyone else so I'm going to initiate a "Class Action" lawsuite against Intel for sweeping this under the rug and ignoring the people that PAY FOR THERI SALARY!!!
I used Windows 7 64bit and the driver for this device directly from Intel and my RAID is set up properly. They made a garbage device and I and we will demand compensation!
Yes, this is what happened to me. I gave up, bought a Solid State Drive and replaced my main drive with it, moving my user data toi another drive, and my PC now goes like a bat out of hell. I got a refund on my Turbo Memory - hope you can.
