I'd also love to have the ticke / service request system back up (for tech support / feature requests, not RMA).
An ETA would be nice.
PS.: Has this seriously been down since Feb 20?! If so, that it's been a month now?!
Unfortunately, it still doesn't work. Let me show you. I choose the "Europe / Middle East" region (since Europe's where I'm from), then I provide my eMail address, log in with my account and provide all the details. It works up until that last screen here:
On that page I click "Submit" after all details are provided. There are no missing fields or anything. After hitting "Submit", what I get is this:
Browsers tested: Vivaldi (Google Chromium / Blink Engine v537.36) and Firefox ESR 38.7.0. Exact same result.
Edit: I tried this at about 08:30am UTC+1.
I understand based on the picture that you have some on-board graphics issues. Please try chatting with one of our graphics agents during working hours at: http://intelsupportchat.force.com/icslivechat/ics_tech_graphics_ww_english_Chat
Or create new community post at: Graphics
Not an "issue" precisely, more like a feature request for something HD Graphics 520 drivers have, where HD Graphics 515 drivers do not, despite being the same chip with just slightly different clock rates. It's concerning video decoding hardware acceleration under MS Windows.
Optimally, I'd like my request relayed to the HD Graphics driver development team at Intel. I'm not sure, but the community forums are probably not the right spot for that? So maybe I'll try the chat.
PS.: Please still bring that service request system back up, it's not making a good impression being constantly broken like this, thanks!
Ah, ok. I will do that in the next days then, thanks!
I am still indeed trying to open a warranty claim since two weeks ago and the system is still unavailable.
Intel, please fix it!
It would be nice if you could provide the Intel product model number.
I am trying to open a warranty claim for my NUC6i5SYK, which is defective. I already tryed to find answers on intel support page and community foruns, but it didn't work.
The unit is defective and I want a replacement, so I need to open a warranty claim, but the system to do so is unavailable for a long time now, as you can see in previous responses.
Intel, please open the system again so we can claim the warranty.
Now that is interesting. My case related to the same product!
What is the defect you see? Mine worked fine with Windows 10, until suddenly I got the BSOD and it never would boot again, always cycling through a number of errors, starting with IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
I could run memtest86+ and got no errors.
I could not boot FreeBSD (kernel panic)
I could not boot the Linux that Intel has for the standalone CPU test utility (also kernel panic).
So clearly a hardware error, something fried. Now it'd be very interesting if yours is the same problem, that would indicate that there is a systemic issue with the NUC6i5SYK.
But to get warranty, call the number. By phone they are actually quite responsive. Their web system is just bad. It simply doesn't work.
