I'm using NUC5i7RYH in a vehicle, its power supply is wired into the ignition. The question is can i configure the NUC5i7RYH to turn on automatically (without actually pressing the power button) when i start the vehicle?
Yes, absolutely. In Visual BIOS, click on Advanced and then Power. In the Secondary Power Settings window (on the right), set parameter After Power Failure to setting Power On.
Thanx, works fine.
However now, upon power up after power failure i sometimes get a message that windows didn't shut down properly and i have to manually chose an action (continue/shutdown/etc).
Is there a way around that (maybe disable the auto repair feature).
Sorry, I don't know. That's a question you may want to post in the Microsoft forums...
ok, i'll try that
thanx a lot
