I have a mobile robot with two wheels and two DC motors. I also have an intel galileo gen 1 and an arduino motor shield. Can I code for this shield on Eclipse IDE or do I have to code on Arduino IDE? I am also doing an image processing by using opencv on Eclipse IDE so I want to continue to code on the same file. What are your suggestions about that?
You can code on the Arduino IDE or in the Eclipse IDE. If you want to use OpenCV I would suggest using the Eclipse IDE and importing the libraries in to it in order to be able to compile successfully, you also will need to install OpenCV on your board, use the repository on iotdk/ if you are using the EGLIBC image. In case you are using the uClibc image use this one: Galileo Package Repo Configuration Instructions
