I work for Intel Customer Support and I would like to help you out as much as possible with this issue however, I have to tell you that I have very little knowledge about JRIVER.
Having the said, I have a few questions that may be able to help troubleshoot this issue:
- Is the NUC installed with Windows Operating System and running JRIVER* Media Center on top of it?
- When you push music from the Windows PC to the NUC running JRIVER* Media Center, is that streaming or just a physical file?
- Can you test by playing a file (physical file on the NUC system) and transfer over to the DAC/Headphone amp? This will tell if the problem is with the transfer of the file from the Windows based system to the NUC running JRIVER or an issue with the NUC.
I would also recommend that you contact JRIVER Media Center Support at: https://www.jriver.com/support.html They would be able to troubleshoot this issue using their own tools possibly installed on the platform already.
