Intel HD Graphics 520 - screen connected via HDMI flickers

Hey Community,

when I connect my LG TV (LB650v) via HDMI to my Notebook with the Intel HD Graphics 520, it works well for about an hour. Then the screen starts to flicker black every two minutes with no obvious reason.

Do you know where/what the problem is?

PS:

Here are my settings:

Intel Core i7 6500U with Intel HD Graphics 520

Windows 10 (latest version)

LG TV connected as second screen with extended desktop at 1080p with 60pHz and 3D enabled

Driver version: 15.40

Hello mximum,

Thank you for joining the Intel communities.

Please try this Beta driver to see if it can help you any better.

Hey ivanu_intel,

thank you for answering.

Well I already did this and the problem was still there. (I think it's because the Beta driver is older than the actual production driver.)

Do you know something else to solve the problem?

I'm sorry that you still have the issue, at this point the latest driver we have for the graphics version is the following:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25484/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40- Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 7/8.1/10* [15.40]

You probably have this one already installed, I suggest uninstalling the other one completely and doing a fresh installation of the driver I provided above.

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel Display HDMI Audio...

If this does not solve your problem then we will need to wait for a new graphics driver version to correct these problems.
