OK i see that is "Adapter for IBM System x" but was sold as Intel
trying intc_sw_nic_v20.3-cd_anyos_32-64.iso without success (firmware 4.50)
intc_sw_nic_v20.0-cd_anyos_32-64.iso (4.42) worked fine
Trying to upgrade frmware 4.50 shows:
Error: Image iSCSI offset exceeds image size (offset=0x663, image size=0x200)
Thank you for the updaet. Try to get the firmware from IBM, the available firmware on our website is here Download NVM Update Utility for Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapter XL710 & X710 Series but it is recommended to uset he OEM version if you are using an OEM NIC.
Can you give me 'trick' to force update to intels firmware ?
