Just wanted to let you know we have more or less the same problem. We have 30 computers with the DG41RQ board on our network.
Every few days on of the computers have network issues. Only after powering off and disconnecting the power cable it works.
We tried to narrow it down to what could cause this issue.
1) DHCP (windows 2003 server with active directory) no logs found. all is working ok on the DHCP server
2) Backbone .we have a Nortel backbone .do you have one too?
3) Power supply or driver.(most updated intel driver)
I am assuming the problem is got to do with power supplied to the NIC onboard
I hope the guys at Intel can elaborate on this issue .
Have you tried to update the bios to the latest version 0013? The latest one appears to have some fixes.
