    falak.desai@yahoo.com

      hello everyone,

i cannot find service command on my intel edison.

when I run 'service' command it shows error like

      root@edison:~# service

      -sh: service: command not found

is there any similar command for this in yocto ?

          Hi,

The service command is not available in the current Edison image. In the Edison, services are found in /lib/system/system. You can enable services, similarly how you’d do it with the service command using systemctl.

Some of the basic systemctl options to check and enable your service are:

          systemctl status servicename.service

          systemctl start servicename.service

          systemctl enable servicename.service

You can see more options of systemctl here systemctl
