I'm a new user to this forum.
I have purchased a NUC D54250WYKH kit that runs Windows 10.
Even though the documentation states that there is an integrated 10/100/1000 MBps ethernet controller on the board,
Windows 10 Device Manager does not show any LAN ethernet controller. Also, installing the driver from the downloads page
on INTEL website fails for the same reason: no ethernet adapter detected.
I have already installed the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Mini PCIe half-card, so I think one slot for a full-sized Mini PCIe card is available.
I can't find anywhere in the documentation what would be a compatible ethernet LAN card for my Kit.
Can anyone advise me on what to buy to include support for LAN network on my system ?
Any help appreciated.
The LAN card is embedded on the board, the Ethernet port input is at the backside of the NUC. In regards the driver, you just need to run Windows® 10 update, it will install the latest drivers of your device.
Now, this NUC model requires a WIFI-Bluetooth card, It is necessary to use the PCIe Mini Card Slot (Half Length) closest to the board.
The PCIe Mini Card Slot (Full Length on top) supports mSATA drives.
