Hi, I like to play Minecraft on this HP Windows 10 Computer with an Intel (R) HD Graphics Carc 4600. My problem is every once in a while, the computer screen freezes and a message comes up at the bottom right corner that says Display Driver Stopped Working And Has Recovered. I'm not sure why this is happening at all. I've videos to try to fix this but none of their solutions work. So why is this happening and how do I fix it? Do I need to update my graphics card, and if so, how? (By the way, I didn't really know where to put this so I put it in the Graphics category). If you have an answer, please get backs to be soon. Thanks!

You don't need a driver for the Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q9650; you need to download the drivers based on your motherboard or system model.
This thread is related to another issue, if you need further assistance you will need to create another thread.
Best regards,
Ivan

You will need to download the .exe file that is on the right, you will need to choose one based on the operating system you are using.
You can see the image below how it looks

Thanks, but I'm not very good with these kinds of things, as you can tell. How can I figure out which operating system I'm using?

I assume you are using Windows 10 because I can see when you created the thread you said that you have the HP Windows 10 computer.
If you can't find the operating system you can follow the steps how to find the operating system version at the following link:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/which-operating-system http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/which-operating-system

Okay, thanks, I have 1 more question: When the crash things comes up in the bottom right it says my display driver has stopped responding for Windows 8(R) even though I have Windows 10. Why is this? Thanks.

If you have Windows 10 installed and you get the error related with Windows 8 that's something that you will need to consult with Microsoft

hi ivanu_intel,
I am having a similar issue. I have an HP Touchsmart 15 laptop running Windows 10, and I have the same display. I'll be playing minecraft and randomly the screen will freeze and I will get the pop up "graphics driver has stopped working but has successfully recovered"
How do I fix this and what other information might you need to know about the laptop?
Thanks

In this case what I can offer is the driver I uploaded above and if that one is not supported you will need to get the latest driver from your system manufacturer website.
As well you can try some recommendations at the following link:

The problem here is that you need a customized driver from your system manufacturer; the driver from the Intel website is not compatible with your system. If your system manufacturer is HP, Toshiba etc, you will need to contact them in order to install the correct driver for your system or access their website with your system model.
