    RealTek Audio stops working [NUC5i5RYH]

After coming out of standby or even if the screen has gone to screen saver or "screen off" mode, sometimes the audio stops working.

The speakers icon in the taskbar shows a little red X. The tooltip says "No speakers or headphones are plugged in."

Clicking on it brings up the Troubleshoot dialog. If you try to troubleshoot RealTek it says "plug in the speaker, headset or headphone".

I think the only way to correct it is to reboot. That's problematic if it is busy with some task (such as recording a TV show or if it is copying files).
