Ordered wrong processors. Newegg won't exchange.

Greetings.

I ordered two of the following processors from Newegg:

Intel Core i7-4930K Ivy Bridge-E 6-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 2011 130W BX80633i74930K Desktop Processor 2 $598.99 $1,197.98

The motherboards are LGA2011v3 and not compatible since the processors are LGA2011.

Newegg refuses to take back or exchange the processors.

(I opened one of the processor boxes and discovered the incompatibility.)

I opened a service request (i.e. Intel Customer Support <</span>mailto:supportreplies@intel.com supportreplies@intel.com> Intel Customer Support - Update to Service Request # : 00225810) but was told such requests were for "replacing defective Intel® components".

These processors have never been used and so, are not defective.

How may I go about exchanging these?

Thank you

Thank you for joining the Intel communities.

You submitted your request at the right department with that case number you provided, this Intel forums are mostly for technical support, I recommend escalating your situation with Newegg to see if they can help you somehow, I'm really sorry about the problem you have but unfortunately we will not be able to help you through this post.
