NUC5i5RYK shows blank desktop screen after installed debian jessie (8.2)

I just brought the 5th generation processor based NUC which is available on the market for near one year. One reason for me to prefer this over other cheaper one is that I had supposed Intel has a reputation to support Linux but it looks totally different in reality. I struggled desperately to get the latest Debian 8.2 (kernel 3.16.0) 64bit to work yesterday. Installation had no issue. After reboot, the GNOME screen never showed up except a blank one. I could see the mouse arrow pointer only, nothing else.  Debian backs largest desktop user base of the main Linux distributions like Ubuntu, Mint and much more. I googled without any direct help, people even talked little about use this box under Linux. Can anyone give me a help? Thanks.
