    Newbie ! in device manager?

      Intel trusted execution engine  I updated driver still error 10

      This device cannot start. (Code 10)

       

       

      STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE. I am on windows 10 toshiba laptop.

       

      I have uninstalled driver reinstalled driver. I am now updated to version 2.0.0.1067.

      I chatted with microsoft say its an Intel issue. I was with Toshiba they said should work I was able to update driver.

       

      Started I ran hardware troubleshooter how I found error

          How to enter Safe Mode in Windows 10

           

          1. Press Win+R (Windows key and R key) at the same time. A Run dialog will appear.

          2. Type msconfig in the run box and click OK button.

          3. Click Boot tab. Under Boot options, check Safe boot and click OK button.

          4. Click Restart then you will enter Safe Mode.

          In Safe Mode, follow steps below to uninstall the problematic drivers.

           

          1. Press Win+R (Windows key and R key) at the same time. A Run dialog will appear.

          2. Type devmgmt.msc in the run box and click OK button.

          3. Expand the category and find the devices with yellow sign.

          4. Right click on the problem device.

          5. Click Uninstall.

          After uninstalling the drivers, uncheck Safe boot and restart Windows 10 normally.

          After restarting Windows, update the drivers in your computer.

          that should help fix the Driver Power State Failure error.
