Default root password for Intel Remote Management Module - RMM4

Out of the box the module appears to have an enabled root user and DHCP is enabled on the dedicated management network port. But I can't find any documentation about what the default password is.

Does anyone know what the default root password is for the Intel RMM4?

It makes little sense to me that you have to connect a monitor and keyboard to configure remote management for usage.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

To answer your question, the RMM4 does not have set up a default password. You need to create the password by going into the BIOS set up menu for the server board. Further instructions can be found here page# 30:
