Thanks for putting in the work on this. It is appreciated.
I tried quickly to follow the directions, but ran into trouble. After running the setup.sh script, neither the oe-init-build-env file, nor the scripts directory are there like they are when I run the setup.sh script with the 1.2.0 release. The setup.sh script had a couple of errors including a patch error.
Do I need to merge your stuff into the 1.2.0 BSP, or vice versa? Or should the files be create the same as they are with 1.2.0?
I need more information about the errors.
First you may execute unsetup.sh and setup.sh again.
It may help if an error is related with downloading from the Internet.
No need to merge it with BSP 1.2.0 or create some additional files.
I have tested it again. It may be that there is no an execution right for setup/combo-layer
Here is my list of commands:
Create a folder and execute the following commands using non-root account:
git config user.name "user"
git config user.email "firstname.lastname@example.org"
git remote add origin https://github.com/xbolshe/galileo-sources.git
git pull -u origin master
chmod +x *.sh
chmod +x setup/combo-layer
Yes, the problem was the execution rights on combo-layer.
It is building now. I'll report back if there are any more problems.
- Update: works fine now! Thanks!!
Something seems up with the download links for pre-compiled images? Would save me a bunch of time, keen to download a newer kernel to see if it improves some slow performance I'm seeing
What firmware version are using with your custom BSP package ? Did you build the EDKII firmware from the BSP v1.2.1 release ?

I have tested with 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 official versions as well as BSP 1.2.0 based release.
In this thread https://communities.intel.com/thread/101070#388438 you may find and download a custom BSP 1.2.0 based firmware.
I did not test a firmware based on BSP 1.2.1 yet.
Can i have an img with kernel-dev and src ?
Or list step-by-step fro creating and installing?
