*Update* - I discovered I was using an extremely old BIOS version and updated it. I am now getting display to trigger however, I get stuck at the boot screen with an "EB - Calling video bios".
Try enabling UEFI. Some of the new video cards being released require this...

I had actually discovered another post where you had suggested this, and so I went ahead and tried it, however, I wasn't able to get past the bios boot screen. Unfortunately, it sounds like it may be time to upgrade, however, I did get about 5-6 years out of the board and chip.
That said I would be curious to know if this something specific to AMD cards? Or do the newest generation Nvidia cards pose the same issue?
Another feature that would affect is that the PCIe revision for the Motherboard is 2.0 and your new GPU has PCIe 3.0 this would stop the GPU from working at its full capacity.
