    medoampir_mj

      hello every one..

      ok here is the problem:

i got an  HP Pavilion dv6-1390ev Entertainment Notebook PC with a 64 windows7 home premium installed on it

i need to install XP proffissional on it instead of the windows7

i can't disable the ahci sata native from the bios because i don't have such an option.

so i need to download the suitable drivers and use it during the XP installation

      the problem is......

where is this AHCI Sata driver?

where can i get it from?

please help me ....... this thread is after about 20 days of searching.....

      thanks.......

          Hello,

If you still have the windows 7 installed on the laptop, can you go to the device manager?

          Disk Drive >>

Put a screenshot for that in your next post and screenshot for the hardware ids.

I will see if i can see any close related drivers :-)

I dont know for sure if it will work or not. You will need to give it a try.

          All the best,

          Kind Regards,

          Aryan.
