Hallo,

I try from a week to set right parameters of my monitor, noone can help me :(.

I use old monitor http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?ctn=202P40/94&hlt=Link_ProductInformation&mid=Link_ProductInformation&scy=US&slg=AEN Philips 202P4

Intel product I use: Control Panel Graphics Intel® HD in Windows10 64bit

Maximum resolution I can set with Graphics Intel Control Panel on my monitor is only 1600x1200 60Hz.

Why?

Philips 202P4 can be set in Windows XP up to 2048 x 1536 @ 80 Hz

Can You add right parameters to Philips 202P4 driver in next realase of Control Panel Graphics Intel® HD in Windows10 64bit?

Here You can find drivers to Win XP:

http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?ctn=202P40/94&dct=DXP&did=AEN&mid=Link_Software&reldct=RXP&scy=US&slg=AEN http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/cpindex.pl?ctn=202P40/94&dct=DXP&did=AEN&mid=Link_Software&reldct=RXP&scy=US&slg=AEN

Custom resolutions option is available on the graphics control panel, see instructions linked below:

Latest driver on the Intel website: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25484/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40- Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 7/8.1/10* [15.40]

Latest drivers installed now. Thanks.

But if I try to change custom resolution (from producer tech. specification list) i got the same info like before

>>You have exceeded the maximum value for custom resolutions.<<

Is there a method to grow up maximum value for custom resolutions?

The error you are reporting was already escalated. I am just waiting for any information from engineering team.

I recommend keep checking for future graphics driver releases.

In the meantime, please test a beta driver available here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25541/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40- Download Intel® Beta Graphics Driver for Windows® 7/8.1/10* [15.40]

Beta drivers installed. Thanks.

Monitor was recognized as Display port to VGA - DP2VGA v168 (?!)

Now I can see resolutions above 1600x1200, but I cannot set refresh rate more than 50Hz 😕

So I must have the same settings 1600x1200x60Hz as before.

P.S.

Answer of Philips on my request about Drivers to WIN10:

Dear Mr.Tomek,

Thank you for contacting Philips Monitors.

We are writing to inform you that you should check this with the manufacturer of the graphics card since it looks like you need to update the driver of it. The monitor itself is plug & play, so it does not need an update.

Kind Regards,

Thanks for the information. At this stage, I will post updates as soon as engineering department provides details about custom resolutions.
