I’m glad that now you are able to use the image successfully. I suggest you to download the latest image version for the Galileo Board: IoT - Intel® Galileo Board Download | Intel® Developer Zone
Could you post the link from where you are getting the node app (or your code), so we could try to replicate the issue?
Is the board correctly connected to a network?
Are you able to ping to google?
I’m assuming you are using the XDK, what is the outcome of running the Blink example?
If you are using the XDK, which version are you using?
The Blink application works well, But the problem is that I am behind a proxy. I have tried setting up the proxy, I am able to ping other machines in the local network but not google.com [results in 100% packet loss]. I am using the latest xdk version 2571. Also I do not use the run button in the xdk . I just go to the /node_app_slot folder and execute the files from there. The code that I tried to run is as follows..
So how to resolve this issue inspite of using the correct proxy.
How are you trying to set the proxy in the board? Could you send all the steps you used?
Did you get a successful installation of the packages with npm?
Did you try with How to setup Node.js and Npm behind a corporate web proxy or:
Do you have updates on this?
Did you try with the suggestion above?
