What are the ID numbers for all CPU's that will fit into an mPGA 478 MB socket?

These CPU's are not the same as your standard everyday socket 478 CPU. The identification allignment corner has a couple of additional pins removed which makes it imposible to use the standard 478 pin CPU. I know that a 1.5GHz/2M SL7GL and a 1.7GHz/1M SL6N5 will fit, but I want to run the fastest CPU that fits the mPGA 478 MB socket. Please advise. Thank you.

Hello,

I dont know about compatibility between the system board that you are using and processors. For this, you will be on your own or check from other community or simply check from the board website.

But i guess that you will need to look from this link:

http://processorfinder.intel.com/List.aspx?ParentRadio=All&ProcFam=942&SearchKey=

Or

http://ark.intel.com

All the best,

Kind Regards,

Aryan.

Thank you. That is exactely what I was looking for. I guess that I was getting all hung up on the package type. You see, the socket says it's an mPGA 478 MB and I couldn't find that among those listed under Intels CPU's. However, the package "Micro-FCPGA" is the same thing. Thanks again.
