My first question ought to be how come I can't paste text on my clipboard into this post?
Anyway, on another D101GGC machine here at home, I installed the latest BIOS update. The BIOS settings defaulted when the update was completed and I got the infamous "NTLDR is missing" when I tried to boot up. I F2'd to the BIOS and changed the boot priorities to boot from the "C" drive, but then found that XP Home SP2 hangs in the midst of the XP startup. I get the "Windows XP Home" screen with the startup progress bar, but after several seconds of watching the progress bar cycle, the XP startup hangs. Is there another BIOS setting that needs to be changed in order for XP to start properly.
