What should I do with my Intel Confidential Xeon CPU?

    Mayson

      I am slightly concerned,

As far as I am aware, it is illegal for people to sell Intel Confidential CPUs as they are Intel's property. I recently came into possession of one after purchasing a Xeon on Ebay. In my own ignorance, the fact it was Intel Confidential didn't even register.

As such, I am now in possession of an ES E5-2680 CPU.

What should I do? Am I allowed to physically own this chip? The chip is older, so I don't think Intel really cares all too much, but I figured that I should probably make sure. It is an LGA 2011 V1.

      Thanks,
