      When I F2 on start up the display only covers three quarters of the screen any ideas

          If the resolution of your screen is higher than 1024 x 768, I think you may be describing expected behavior which Intel started with most NUCs (perhaps in attempt to be more compatible with "TV").  Instead of displaying BIOS screens at something like 1024 x 768 mode of a monitor, they changed to try keeping the native resolution of the display and show the BIOS 1024 x 768 centered within that resolution.  So the higher resolution displays get small size shown in the center.  You may be lucky if yours is covering three-quarters because some might cover only one-quarter or so.

            Try updating the bios in your NUC. Here you can search by the model of it:
