Hello!

I have a Problem with Acer Veriton T661 Desktop Client with Intel E8400 Dualcore processor.

After installing Windows Server 2008 R2 an activating Hyper-V role the server runs into bluescreen. Deactivating Hyper-V funtionality in BIOS lets the system boot up again as wanted, but then the virtualization doesn`t work (of course this is as designed).

Same problem with Hyper-v 2008 R2 server installation.

Are there any hints how to use this processor with hyper-v v2?

kind regards,

oliver

I have the problem with Core 2 Duo E8400 on Asus P5E-VM DO (iQ35). The Hyper-V role was installed only while VT was disabled. When VT was enabled, I had a "blue screen of death". It's right for Windows Server 2008 and Server 2008 R2. BIOS latest 0902. For prossesor E6320 all work good. With Intel drivers for iQ35 motherboards all the same. Is this chipset iQ35 or BIOS problem ? Is anybody have such problem with Intel motherboards?

Acer Veriton T661 has the same chipset iQ35 and AMI BIOS.
