Thank you for joining the Intel communities.
Did this system work fine before and then failed or this problem is since you purchase the unit?
Are you using any adapters or straight connection, if yes, we strongly recommend using straight connection from Mini-HDMI on the NUC to HDMI TV/Monitor or mini DP from the NUC to a TV/Monitor
Please try installing the latest graphics drivers for your system.
Also, I recommend having Windows updated and to install the latest Intel chipset and Intel® management engine driver, please Downloads for Intel® NUC Kit D54250WYK
About the RAM and hard drive the best way to test the RAM is in another system if it is possible or to try it in different slot, you can try doing a firmware update on your hard drive depending who the SSD manufacturer is.
I hope this information is useful for you.
i had win7 and it worked great for a long time. Nothing wrong whatsoever. Problem started when I installed win10 on it.
Yes I am using a miniDP to hdmi to connect to my tv. It was fine with win7.
The graphics driver I have installed is 10.18.15.4256 which I believe is the latest driver for it.
Oh, it always fail to install on the following drivers:
RAID: Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver for Intel nuc
Intel ME 11: Management Engine Driver for Intel nuc
Chipset: Intel chipset device software for Intel nuc
infrared Nuvaton consumer infrared (CIR) driver for Intel nuc
II'll look into the firmware update for my Samsung hard drive.
Additionally, I'm currently on windows 10. i just checked your site. The latest graphics driver you have is 188.8.131.5294. I tried installing it but it wouldn't install. This driver isn't for Windows 10. Is there a graphic driver for Windows 10?
