There are some threads in the community related to the Bluetooth HC-05.
- Re: How can I communicate with intel galileo gen 2 via HC-05 (zs-040) bluetooth module from my PC ? You can use the SoftwareSerial library from: Galileo/Arduino-Examples/SoftwareSerial
- Shields Test Report There are some examples that may help you with this, take a look at pages 46 and 49
- Re: Interfacing Galileo with bluetooth module : HC-05 There is an example for the Arduino IDE using the UART.
- How to get bluetooth HC-05 working on system level? You can also use the UART, pins 0 and 1 from Linux side, but you must set all the muxes to make this work. In this link you will see the configuration for Galileo Gen2. If you are using Galileo Gen1 take a look at this link: Intel Galileo - Configuring the Serial Port in Linux
Try with these options and let us know if you get improvements.
