Windows* XP support ended on April,2014. I will check with engineering to see if they have anything for your case. Please bear in mind, Intel will not release new drivers or fix issues on unsupported operating systems.

It is strange that integrated HD Audio looks like disabled in BIOS, but actually present in OS (Conexant device). It works?

I just received a notification from our engineering team, I regret to inform you that Intel will not fix any issues under legacy operating systems.

I recommend to keep checking this post for any peer that may help on this matter.
