    DG41MJ PS/2 Mouse not working

    Cerbie

Hi I have a DG41MJ that I need to connect to a KVM, the motherboard only has a PS/2 keyboard socket and both the keyboard and mouse work fine individually in that socket. I have tried a USB to PS/2 converter and a PS/2 laptop splitter cable without success.

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

      Many thanks

does the keyboard work with the converter? is your operating system and bios up-to-date?

Hi the keyboard works with the PS/2 splitter cable but not the USB to PS/2 converter, when I plug the mouse into the keyboard socket of the splitter it works. To summarise

The USB to PS/2 converter does not work with keyboard or mouse.

The PS/2 splitter only works down the keyboard socket where the keyboard and mouse work fine individually.

            Hope this is clear.

The Operating system is Windows XPPro service pack 3 and I have upgraded the bios to latest release MJG4110H.86A.0005.2009.1008.1748.

I have 7 of these system so any help would be appreciated.

            Thanks
