Intel is not offering any tools for monitoring temperatures; they have EOLed all of their existing tools. You will have to use third-party applications to do so.
You can try using basic tools like SpeedFan (http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php) or HWMonitor (http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html) or you can go for premium tools like AIDA64 (http://www.aida64.com/). I know that AIDA64 offers logging capabilities - and it includes benchmarking capabilities as well - so I believe it is worth the cost...
