Intel Raid 1 will not idle

    ScoobyJD

I have recently been having issues with my Intel Raid 1 not idling. It use to cut power to the drivers after an allotted time, now the drivers stay active no matter what. I have sat and timed the array at 1 minute idle time with no activity and it will not idle. Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated, thank you ahead of time!

Did you check the Windows* power plan settings?

Has it ever idled before? If yes, is there a recent change in your system?

Can you provide the make and model of your system as well as the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology version?

Windows power settings are set to have them idle at 20 minutes.

I have switched back to Windows 8.1 Pro 64 and I disabled windows search in services. The drives shut down after my set 1 minute and it worked for a while. I restarted the computer and they drives will no longer idle. I have rechecked my settings and services is still disabled. Any help would be appreciated, really tired of sitting here all day listening to this things hum.
