    Obstinate Edison refusing to flash

    geotheory

I've flashed an Edison a few times using the method:

      • `sudo ./flashall.sh`
      • then plugging device in with two USB cables

That method stopped working yesterday, and nothing else worked (e.g. `run do_ota` & `run do_flash` methods), until went back and ran `flashall.sh` as root (without `sudo`). Today I seem to have totally bricked the device and it fails to flash by any method.  Running `./flashall.sh` as root goes through the motions but ends after just 30s.  Here's the report:

      root@pathto/toFlash# ./flashall.sh

      Using U-Boot target: edison-blankcdc

Very grateful for assistance.  Is there anything else in the `boot >` menu I can do to either wipe all the unit's files or otherwise force it to accept the flash?
