Do you have the part number?
You could use these DIMMs in the older DC53427HYE NUC, which has Core i5-3427 processor.
Thanks for replying.
I'm afraid that's a bit over my budget.
I found two others that would accept ddr3 1066 but only 4gb.
I also have 1x8gb ddr3-1600 that I think will fit in a
Intel NUC Kit DC3217IYE
Look at the following table: Intel® NUC Comparison this could be useful and I guess the models that would work with that memory are: kit DC53427HYE, board D53427RKE and kit DC3217IYE and board DC33217GKE but I cannot guarantee that these memory is 100% compatible.
It is highly recommended that once you pick your NUC system check on the compatibility list for all additional devices before you purchase anything.
I hope this helps,
Another problem also is voltage... 1.35 or 1.5.
The ram stick doesn't have that information.
I've looked it up by name, number and can't find any info.
The one I'm looking at now, the one above, has 32gb ssd and 4gb ram. I have a 64gb now with a 1tb external now but only 1gb ram. Slow!!!
I want to expand eventually to 16gb.
I think I'll go ahead and get it and if the ram I have doesn't work, I'll have to do with 4gb for a while.
Well... I did it. Hopefully the ram I have will work and I can get 8gb more later.
If not, I'll do with 4gb for a bit.
Thanks for the input guys.
Wish me luck.
The low voltage (1.35V) memory will always say "DDR3L". Of course, how they indicate this in their part number can vary from vendor to vendor...
Hi guys, I'm back.
All I do is get confused trying figure out which ram to buy for my
Intel NUC Kit DC3217IYE.
I have the list from Intel but can not find the exact description on ebay.
I enter the manufacture, part number etc from the list and never find an exact match.
Could someone recommend the correct 8gb ram for me.
I had this 1x8gb ddr3-1600 and it worked. but that's all that was printed on the chip.
Any help appreciated.
I really apologize that it took me some time to help you with the information you need.
You can see the list for the RAM compatible with this Intel® NUC at:
I found this one for you in eBay:
