Wirless driver not working.

My Asus U56E notebook has not been able to do wireless connections. I did some research online, and found out that it might be a hardware problem with the wireless card. I bought and replaced the old wireless card, which was a Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150, with a new one; however, he problem still remains. Whenever I look under the device manager there is a device name "Network Controller" with code 28, no drivers are found for this device. Then under the Network Adapter tab, there is only a Intel(R) Centrino(R) WiMAX 6150, no Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150. I have already tired deleting the Intel(R) Centrino(R) WiMAX 6150 Function Driver and Intel(R) Centrino(R) WiMAX 6150, then reinstalling the lastest Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiMAX, but still the wireless does not work.

Any Suggestions on how to get the wireless working?

Before we go any further we would like to inform you that Intel does not support integration which is when the original wireless card is replaced. On our best effort to assist you, we recommend that you try one of the solutions found below.

1 - Try this way: In Control Panel, Device Manager, Network Adapters, right click on the Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150 and Uninstall it. Make sure you mark the option to "Delete the driver software for this device".

2 - Reboot the PC or scan for hardware changes, check device manager and if an older driver is detected and installed, repeat the actions to uninstall and delete it as well. Repeat this process until the OS does not allow deleting the driver, or until the controller shows as Unknown Device.

3 - Install the Intel® Wireless driver. During the first steps of PROSet/Wireless installation, make sure to customize the installation and install all the 3 driver components.
