HDMI to TV screeen doesn't fit

My laptop is MSI GE62 Apache laptop Intel 5700. . I set Custom Resolution in the Intel HD Control Pahel, 1920x1080 refresh 30 and underscan so that it is 1786 x 992 (this is what I use for the computer I am replacing). I apply and there is no change in the screen. It doesn't matter what size I place, it accepts, I apply, and nothing happens. I would appreciate any guidance. I can't change overscan, 1:1, or similar on my TV.

Note that I'm trying to connect my laptop to my TV. My tv is 1080i/720p (yea, it's old but it's still nice)

Which version of Windows do you have?

Could you reply with the graphics driver versions you have tried so far?
