I suggest you to check use the Linux sources file for Intel Edison platform (BSP). Follow steps from 1 to 4 of the Section 2 Build an Intel® Edison Image using bitbake of the Board Support Package (BSP) User Guide, but instead of the 5th step that will build the Edison image you can get into the menuconfig. The menuconfig is a tool to configure the Kernel of the Edison, in there you’ll see all the drivers that are in the image as well as the kernel modules, you can also add more to the image if you need. To get into the menuconfig you need to use the following command:
bitbake linux-yocto -c menuconfig
