I also tried pasting the rest of the error message, but it recognized my post as spam and wouldn't let me post. I am happy to type the rest of it out when I return to this tomorrow.
Which steps are you using in the XDK to run the project? Are you using Building > Uploading > Run?
Also, have you tried by selecting the option under Manage your daemon / IoT device > Clean '/node_modules' before building?
Is that the only error message you are receiving?
Have you tried to attach a screenshot? You can try posting all the log with another web browser too.
I have posted the full error here:
CMata_Intel, my sequence is Build, Upload and Run. I have also tried Update Libraries on Board, Build, Upload and Run. The full error that I am receiving is linked above. I will try 'clean node modules' now and report back.
I checked the Clean 'node modules' box under Manage you daemon/IoT device, then Build, Upload and Run. It produced the same error. Should I try another yocto image istall? I've already done it once but just don't know where else to go from here.
Hi postITnote ,
Which image do you have in your board? If you are not getting 159 after running configure_edison --version, I suggest you to use the latest one from: IoT - Intel® Edison Board Download
I would like to replicate your situation, could you answer the following questions?
1. Which XDK version do you have?
2. Which OS are you using?
3. Are you using this example: upm/mpr121.js at master · intel-iot-devkit/upm · GitHub?
Ok, so I checked my image on two boards and it's telling me 120, although I've downloaded the image and replaced the files and typed reboot ota. I did it again, andthis may be where the problem lies... when I type the reboot ota command it goes continues and looks like it's updating, but then ends at mypreviousboardname@root. It doesn't erase my previous configurations and I still get 120 when checking the version. I just tried updating the image through the integrated windows installer and it gave me an error window stating "Failed to process component: Update image
Uh-oh! Your Intel® Edison image did not update. This is likely because the Intel® Edison did not reconnect properly. You’ll need to download the newer firmware and manually update the Intel® Edison board. Detailed instructions available at https://software.intel.com/en-us/using-flash-tool-lite "
I will try using the flash tool lite and another board and report back.
Good news. I was able to successfully reboot the newest image of my board using JPMontero_Intel's response where steps to use the flashall.sh or flashall.bat command are listed. I was then able to upload the code in XDK successfully. Phew! Now I can get back to debugging code instead of this.
Thank you CMata_Intel for your help.
